The water-repellant Denier shaft is laminated to a moisture-absorbent foam, ensuring any moisture that gets through does not make it all the way to your legs. Moreover, by layering the laminated shaft, the moisture absorbent foam, and inner fleece you essentially create an air pocket that adds even more insulation to this already warm boot.
