Registered APHA black and white tobiano saddle broke gelding. He is very flashy, very fast, loves to run, has great potential and learns quickly. Needs experienced trainer/rider to complete training, great candidate for Barrel Racing, Roping, or Cow horse. He is 15.2 HH, 1100lbs, 8 years old with great conformation. He is a strong and healthy horse up to date on all his shots and an easy keeper. He is easy to catch generally the first one to come when you walk in the pasture and very inquisitive. He stands well for Ferrier and vet never offered to kick or bite. He has good ground manners using Clinton Anderson training methods. He stands to be mounted and dismounted, backs up well and yields hind quarters. I ride him around the pasture and surrounding fields. I have taken him to several armature team penning events and he really enjoys working the cows and is not spooky.

Being a young rider all the horses I have ever ridden were fully trained and when I bought him I wanted to train one although it was against my dad's better judgment. He needs somebody with more experience to finish training than I have and my dad doesn't have the time he needs to spend with him everyday either. He loves to run and is VERY fast and very light in the mouth. He does on occasion want to take off running and I get to heavy in his mouth and I have a hard time stopping him. However my dad can ride him and he does fine but he is very spirited and needs an experience rider. He's not the wide eyed crazy kind of spirited he just has a lot of spunk. He can be very hardheaded at times and knows that he can get away with some things with me and we are just not a good match. I'm still in school and I have very little time in the afternoon to ride and I would prefer to spend my time enjoying riding than training him. When we all ride together he always seems to do fine it's just when he's by himself. My dad says this horse needs a regular job, very smart and has a lot of potential but to be honest he knows that he can bully me and it's time to get a horse with my skill level.

I will consider trading for a trained horse that is between 14-15.3 hh and 5-15 years old. I need a horse that I can use for trail riding and western events but not a dead head. Our horses are part of the family and a good home is a MUST, someone who uses natural horsemanship training would be preferred.
